WE ARE BIODIVERSITY-FRIENDLY

VARIETY MEANS QUALITY

We strive to preserve and encourage a wide range of living organisms on the land and in the water & air because this how we make sure that the fruit and vegetables reach high quality standards. We know that a balanced community populated by a host of different plant and animal life is the best solution for everyone.

RESPECT FOR THE ECOSYSTEM

Boasting quality certification, the 40,000 tonnes of produce that we grow and sell generally reaches the consumers’ tables within a mere 24 hours of having been harvested. Fertile soils and local plant diversity enable us to produce a wide array of seasonal fruit and vegetables all year round.

GOOD PRACTICES

We dearly cherish our produce and are extremely proud of our achievements, so we work hard to keep things the way we like them by using certified growing techniques and monitoring the environment to check the quality of water, soil and air. This is the only way to ensure that biodiversity continues to thrive.

OUR COMMITMENT

  • SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

All our members receive recommendations and advice on local crop-management methods based on the principles of sustainable development. The overall aim is to ensure that man fits into his surrounds without damaging living organisms which might lead to their extinction and without causing pollution/changes in climate, overusing land and wearing it out.

  • BIODIVERSITY FRIENDLY

Through the certification body CSQA, we keep constant tabs on the state of biodiversity in the farming regions and fight to keep it high. The farmers all comply with good practices and principles of sustainability, following the set guidelines and being generally biodiversity friendly. The fruit and vegetable crops harvested by them have an invisible worth in addition to their Continue Reading

  • AWARENESS

Only by studying ecosystems and the species that inhabit them can we hope to create enduring systems for their protection. So we provide our support to analytical activities, scientific research, dissemination, training and education on the environment, the main focus being on ways to preserve and rescue species in danger of extinction, biological communities, biotopes and threatened natural environments.

  • A WBA PARTNER

Since 2010 we have been partners of the WBA (the World Biodiversity non-profit Association) which works to preserve all living organisms and keep ecosystems as varied as possible. Our mission is to make sure that a community of organisms living in a given habitat is heterogeneous and that its natural surroundings are physically compatible.
